Thanks went out to all who brought snacks, the holiday committee, and all who help with the Bug’s Splatter show.
Good News and Happenings: Marie Schadt will be showing with the Minature Show at the Leepa Rattner Museum. Virginia Butler is working on a project with service dogs, Pat Beebe will be showing at the Brandon Square show, Gaston McKenzie just finished ‘Living the Art Festival’ show in Jamaica. Fran, owner of Bug’s Splatter, sold the boat panel painting.
Officers’ Report: Treasurer reported a balance of $1949.77 and 65 members. Dues are due Jan. 31.
Committee Reports: Bug’s Splatter show art drop off is Saturday 28, from 10 - 3. Make sure labels are on the back of each piece. Bamboozle show is coming up next in March. Active members will get a ‘call for artist’.
Announcements: Please keep John Henne in your prayers. Eileen is waiting for a diagnosis. At the moment he is not allowed any visitors, but cards can be sent to the following address: 15807 Serenity Circle, Tampa, FL. 33647.
Nominations for 2017 officers are being accepted. E-mail nominations to our site. Active members only can hold positions on the board. Nominations were made for Jan Roser for 2VP, Margret Thomas for Secretary, and Joan Garcia for Treasurer. Positions still open for President and 1VP. Lynn will be available as Ex- officio to help with incoming president. The slate will be sent to members prior to the March meeting.Show and Tell and Featured Artist: This was one of the largest attended meetings with 30 people.
